EPA grant will focus on brownfield redevelopment

HOUGHTON — InvestUP, in partnership with the Western Upper Peninsula Planning and Development Region, Houghton County Land Bank and Gogebic County Land Bank, has been selected for a $1 million Environmental Protection Agency Brownfields Assessment Coalition Grant to support redevelopment in the Western Upper Peninsula. Judge reconsiders Marquette County FBO case

MARQUETTE — Delta County Circuit Court Judge John B. Economopoulos Wednesday heard oral arguments on motions for reconsideration in the Marquette County v Kubick Aviation Case. The lawsuit relates to the county’s decision to take over fixed base operator services at the Marquette Sawyer Regional Airport. Those services are currently provided by Kubick Aviation.
