MARQUETTE — Hiawatha Music Co-op will partner with the Marquette Arts and Culture Center to present a Marquette Art Week Concert.

Given the Art Week theme of “Home,” Hiawatha has rounded up some hometown favorites and will present them together on one stage.

Spread your blanket on the lawn and enjoy the music of The Union Suits, John Gillette and Sarah Mittlefehldt, and Dan Truckey.

The concert will be 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Father Marquette Park/Marquette Lions Lakeside Park along Front Street, near the Father Marquette statue. Fun crafts will be available for kids young and old.

The event is free for everyone.

Also the Baraga Avenue parking lot in the city of Marquette will be closed for an Art Week music concert from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday.
