MTU to celebrate the achievements of more than 1,300 graduates at Spring Commencement
HOUGHTON — The ceremonies will be held Friday and Saturday in the John J. MacInnes Student Ice Arena at the Student Development Complex.
The Graduate Student Commencement Ceremony will take place at 3 p.m. Friday and the Undergraduate Student Commencement Ceremony will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday. Each ceremony will be livestreamed, with recordings available afterward.
This year’s speakers include:
• Jeffrey Littmann, Michigan Tech Board of Trustees member and Honorary Alumnus, delivering the keynote address.
• Houssein Yassin, a doctoral candidate in mechanical engineering-engineering mechanics, representing graduate students.
• Caelan Mead-O’Brien, an environmental engineering major, representing undergraduate students.
Doors open 90 minutes prior to each ceremony for ticketed guests. Parking is available in Lot 22 (adjacent to the SDC) and Lot 24 (near the football field).
