MARQUETTE — Average gasoline prices in Michigan have fallen 15.4 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $3.80/g today, according to GasBuddy’s survey of 4,913 stations in Michigan. Prices in Michigan are 11.6 cents per gallon lower than a month ago and stand 67.7 cents per gallon higher than a year ago. The national average price of diesel has decreased 11.7 cents compared to a week ago and stands at $5.500 per gallon.

According to GasBuddy price reports, the cheapest station in Michigan was priced at $3.34/g yesterday while the most expensive was $4.89/g, a difference of $1.55/g. The lowest price in the state yesterday was $3.34/g while the highest was $4.89/g, a difference of $1.55/g.

The national average price of gasoline has fallen 9.4 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $3.97/g today. The national average is up 3.9 cents per gallon from a month ago and stands 87.4 cents per gallon higher than a year ago, according to GasBuddy data compiled from more than 11 million weekly price reports covering over 150,000 gas stations across the country.
