All about town

With Mary Jayne

It would seem this past week or two there was some confusion on what information folks dialing into Google were getting on how to navigate through Munising with all the M-28 construction going on. And in some cases, folks seem to be getting directed WAY OFF and actually onto what we call St. Martins Hill (a particularily scenic route) in the fall and winter, however, by no means a highway or where one would want to start riding through traffic. So after some local confusion and resignage the confusion has PROBABLY been settled. (Photo courtesy of Mary Jane Halifax)
Again, while riding about, saw this scene on the local golf course one of these hot days, some of the local folks enjoying a round of golf. We have truly been enjoying outdoor weather, however some of the humidity and heat has not been totally appreciated. (Photos courtesy of Mary Jayne Hallifax)
And all things swing back to our roundabout so happened to catch some of the local gardeners out on the roundabout doing the necessary weeding (how come even new earth comes with weeds?) They appeared quite confident of their safety. Shown from the left were Jim Islieb, Paula White; Claudia VanLandschoot, Annetta VanLandschoot and Kay Dausey. We all benefit by their efforts.
