Measure will improve energy picture

To the Journal editor: For too long, Michiganders have paid the highest electricity rates for the worst service in the Midwest. Democrats in the Michigan Legislature voted to do something about that. By passing the Michigan Jobs, Michigan Energy legislation, Michiganders will see a transformational build-out of renewable energy, like wind and solar, along with battery storage. This will help improve the reliability of our grid and lower utility bills. To the Journal editor: This is in response to the February 22 letter to the editor from Carol Palmer. I agree with her one hundred percent. Trump has called veterans “suckers and losers.” He has also put down the former senator John McCain for being caught and becoming a prisoner of war.
