To the Journal editor:

It’s still winter, but soon it will be our next changed season, spring. With that comes longer days, more sunlight and the snow will begin to melt.

Remember the blessings the Lord provides with the change of seasons. The beauty of the Upper Peninsula of Michigan will be on display: flowers, green leaves on the trees, warmer weather and roads will be better for driving, not the same old thing everyday.

So, my spiritual message is try to make each day positive. The day you arise and can see and hear and move around, have family, friends around to support you.

Most of all, give thanks to the Lord one day at a time is a good way to go to somewhere special, the U.P. of Michigan.
