NMU women hitting road
MARQUETTE – A two-game GLIAC road trip for the Northern Michigan University women’s basketball team begins tonight at Saginaw Valley State.
Coach Troy Mattson’s Wildcats take a 10-13 overall and 9-8 GLIAC marks into the 6 p.m. contest. SVSU is 16-6 and 13-4, respectively.
Junior NMU guard Bre Gaspervich, coming off a 27-point and 12-rebound performance in a win over Ferris State, is averaging 20.3 points and has made 55.6 percent of her 3-point shot attempts over the last three games.
