MARQUETTE — Northern Michigan University Sports Information Department has issued a reminder that the NMU Wildcat Awards will be live-streamed tonight.

It can be watched through a link at NMU’s online sports website at nmuwildcats.org, which will take a visitor to the YouTube website.

It can also be accessed directly on YouTube by typing “nmuav” as a search.

While the program is scheduled to start at 7 p.m., the YouTube site will become available at 6 p.m.

The awards have been held for the past several years and cover a wide range of areas, all concerning Wildcats sports over the past school year.

Some topics from the 2023 awards included Athletes of the Year, Scholar-Athletes of the Year, Gildo Canale Outstandings Seniors, Team of the Year, Coach of the Year, Play of the Year, Moment of the Year, Upset of the Year, Newcomers of the Year, Humanitarian of the Year, Community Engagement Award and the Brian Franks “Too Strong” Award.
