MARQUETTE – Wide receiver Marcus Tucker of Northern Michigan University has been named to the Beyond Sports Network Super Region 4 Third Team.

Tucker was also honored with Second Team All-GLIAC laurels this past season.

Tucker ranked first in the GLIAC averaging 21.1 yards per catch. He was fourth overall in all-purpose yards, racking up 1,704 and averaging 154.9 yards per contest.

He also ranked seventh in the league with seven touchdowns.

He was the top receiver for the Wildcats, catching 40 passes for 843 yards while racking up 841 yards in kick returns and averaging 26.3 yards per return.

Tucker’s longest reception of the season was a 67-yard catch in the Wildcats’ season finale win over Findlay, 66-38. He also had an 87-yard kick return in NMU’s 33-30 win over Wayne State.
