PORT HURON — Sophomore Dondre Yohe of Ishpeming scored in a pair of games for the Bay College men’s basketball team during the St. Clair County Community College Holiday Classic held over the weekend.

Yohe scored two points by making the only shot he attempted in the Norse’s 99-62 loss to host SCCCC on Friday, then put in four points by hitting 2 of 3 from the field in a 94-90 double-overtime win over Mid Michigan College on Saturday.

On Friday, sophomores Luke Mattson of Negaunee and freshman Austin Forbes of Gwinn didn’t score, but Mattson pulled down two rebounds and Forbes one. On Saturday, Mattson had three rebounds and Yohe two.

Bay improved to 6-4 with the split. The Norse host its Quality Inn & Suites Holiday Classic this weekend, facing Harper College on Saturday and Milwaukee Area Technical College on Sunday.
