HARBOR SPRINGS – Sue Micklow of Marquette finished in an 11th-place tie at the 19th Golf Association of Michigan Women’s Senior Championship tournament held at Birchwood Farms Golf & Country Club near Harbor Springs.

Micklow shot a pair of 84s on Monday and Tuesday for a 168 total, 15 strokes behind champion Terry DelCamp of Grand Blanc, who had 76-77-153 and won by one stroke over Joan Garety of Ada.

Not far behind her was Karen Plaisier of Ishpeming, who recorded rounds of 86 and 85 for 171, good for 15th in the top-division “A” flight that included 25 golfers. There were 86 participants in all over four flights.

Becky Cecconi, a Florence, Wisconsin, resident who plays out of Iron Mountain, came in fourth with 78-79-157.
