MARQUETTE – Tom Getman and Carolyn McManis took the top honors in the Northern Michigan University Golf Course’s annual club championship over the weekend.

Getman claimed the men’s title while McManis captured the women’s crown.

Getman posted a two-day 162 total (77-85) to beat runner-up Nick Sigan (83-86-169).

Jason Mac came in third (81-91-172).

In the first flight, Brandon Shon (87-79-166) placed first while Nick Lefebvre took runner-up honors (88-88-176).

McManis, meanwhile, took the women’s championship in a one-day tourney,

She came in with an 87 on Sunday.

Jessica Hanley carded a 95 for second, while Hannah Crampton came in third with a 99.
