Spartans make Pauga Asst. AD

EAST LANSING (AP) – Michigan State director of basketball operations Kevin Pauga is becoming an assistant athletic director.

The school announced a number of changes within the athletic department Saturday, including Pauga’s move to a position as an assistant athletic director for administration. He has been director of men’s basketball operations for the past six seasons.

Athletic director Mark Hollis appointed Shelley Appelbaum, Jim Pignataro, Paul Schager and Chuck Sleeper to serve as executive associate athletic directors, each coordinating one of four areas of focus: student-athletes, allocation of resources, events and revenue.
