Appearing before Judge Jennifer Mazzuchi for arraignment March 7:
≤ Luke Raymond Barabe, 37, of 316 Pine St., Marquette, pleaded guilty to one count of breaking and entering a building with intent, a 10-year felony and one count of malicious destruction of building, $1,000 or more but less than $20,000, a five-year felony. The charges stem from a Dec. 25 incident in the city of Marquette. Barabe was scheduled to be sentenced May 17.
≤ Steven Allen Barabe, 35, of Marquette, pleaded guilty to one count of controlled substance delivery/manufacture, methamphetamine, a 20-year felony and one count of jails, prisoner possessing contraband, a five-year felony. The charges stem from a Nov. 28 incident in Forsyth Township. Barabe was scheduled to be sentenced May 3.
≤ Jeremiah Antonio Bostick, 26, of 322 Quail St., Gwinn, pleaded guilty to one count of domestic violence, a 93-day misdemeanor and one count of third-degree home invasion, a five-year felony. The charges stem from a Dec. 27 incident in West Branch Township.
≤ Erin Anna Garceau, 26, of 1685 Glenwood St., Ishpeming, pleaded guilty to one count of controlled substance, creation/delivery of an analogue, a 15-year felony. The charge stems from an April 16, 2018 incident in Ishpeming Township. Garceau was scheduled to be sentenced May 3.
≤ Tavis Dean Hetrick, 26, of 777 Pioneer Road, pleaded guilty to one count of attempted larceny from the person, a five-year felony. The charge stems from an Oct. 15 incident in Marquette Township. Hetrick also pleaded guilty to one count of controlled substance delivery/manufacture, methamphetamine, a 20-year felony. The charge stems from a Dec. 24 incident in the city of Marquette. Hetrick was scheduled to be sentenced May 3.
≤ Tyler Scott Johnson, 24, of 1008 County Road 496, Ishpeming, pleaded guilty one count of larceny – weapons, firearms, a five-year felony. The charge stems from a June 30, 2017 incident in Ishpeming Township. Johnson was scheduled to be sentenced May 3.
≤ Carli Jean Nevala, 33, of 408 Oak St., Ishpeming, pleaded guilty to one count of larceny in a building, a four-year felony. The charge stems from a Sept. 8 incident in Tilden Township. Nevala also pleaded guilty to one count of operating while intoxicated, third offense, a five-year felony. The charge stems from a Nov. 11 incident in Negaunee Township. Nevala was scheduled to be sentenced May 3.
≤ Taylor Ann Thompson, 27, of 824 E. North St., Ishpeming, pleaded guilty to third-degree child abuse, a two-year felony. The charge stems from a Jan. 23 incident in the city of Ishpeming. Thompson was scheduled to be sentenced May 17.

≤ Cortney Jo Clark, 36, of 3045 Deerfield Road, Rock, pleaded guilty to one count of controlled substance possession/analogues, a two-year felony. The charge stems from a March 8, 2018 incident in Forsyth Township. Clark was scheduled to be sentenced May 17.
≤ Larry Burt Gaines, 43, of 838 Palms Ave., Ishpeming, pleaded guilty to one count of attempted financial device, stealing/retaining without consent, a two-year high court misdemeanor. The charge stems from an April 30 incident in Republic Township. Gaines was scheduled to be sentenced May 17.
≤ Vincent Michael Westphal, 18, of 243 Hemlock St., Republic, pleaded no contest to one count of malicious destruction of fire or police property, a four-year felony. The charge stems from a Feb. 9 incident in Republic Township. Westphal was scheduled to be sentenced May 17.
Appearing before Judge Jennifer Mazzuchi for sentencing March 14:
≤ Savannah Marie Lemay, 31, of 8080 CR 550, Marquette, was given 12 months probation and ordered to pay fines and costs of $798. Lemay pleaded guilty Dec. 28 to one count of operating under the influence, occupant less than 16 years old.
≤ Jason Conrad Litzner, 45, of 114 Rock St., Negaunee, was sentenced to serve 90 days in jail with credit for three days served, jail term suspended; given 18 months probation and ordered to pay fines and costs of $798. Litzner pleaded guilty Dec. 28 to one count of controlled substance use, narcotic or cocaine.

≤ James Darwin Buggy, 32, of 520 E. Varnum St., Munising, was sentenced to serve 120 days in jail with credit for 32 days served and remainder deferred, given 18 months probation and ordered to pay fines and costs of $798. Buggy pleaded guilty Dec. 14 to one count of controlled substance, possession of methamphetamine.
