Appearing before Judge Jennifer Mazzuchi for sentencing July 25:

≤ Amber Rae Suggitt, 34, of 1489 Woodridge Ave., Marquette, was sentenced to serve 17 to 30 years in prison on one count of torture; 17 to 30 years in prison on one count of kidnapping; 4 years, 9 months to 10 years in prison on one count of assault with intent to commit sexual penetration, all to be served concurrently, with credit for 512 days served, and ordered to pay fines and costs of $334. Suggitt pleaded no contest May 22 to the charges listed above.

Appearing for arraignment June 28:

≤ John Daniel O’Neill, 33, pleaded guilty to one count of breaking and entering a building with intent, a 10-year felony. The charge stems from an Oct. 9 incident in the city of Ishpeming. O’Neill was scheduled to be sentenced Aug. 31.

≤ Andrew Delane Bass, 23 of 777 Pioneer Road, Marquette, pleaded no contest to three counts of breaking and entering a building with intent, a 10-year felony. The charges stem from a July 10, 2017, incident in the city of Marquette. Bass was scheduled to be sentenced Aug. 31.

Appearing for arraignment June 29:

≤ Wendy Mae Brown, 52, of 100 Acorn Trail, Marquette, pleaded guilty to one count of home invasion, third degree, a five-year felony. The charge stems from an April 30 incident in Richmond Township. Brown was scheduled to be sentenced Sept. 7.

≤ Darrell James Patterson Jr., 20, of 205 Meeske Ave., Marquette, pleaded guilty to three counts of criminal sexual conduct, third degree, person age 13-15, a 15-year felony. The charges stem from an April 15, 2017, incident in the city of Marquette. Patterson Jr. was scheduled to be sentenced Aug. 31.

≤ Brodie John Smith, 26, of 461 Cherry Creek, Marquette, pleaded guilty to one count of controlled substance possession, methamphetamine, a 10-year felony. The charge stems from a March 16 incident in the city of Marquette. Smith was scheduled to be sentenced Aug. 31.

≤ Randy James Tuominen, 32, of 63411 County Road 581, Ishpeming, pleaded no contest to operating while intoxicated causing serious injury, a five-year felony. The charge stems from a Dec. 23 incident in Ishpeming Township. Tuominen’s sentencing date was not available.

Appearing for arraignment July 13:

≤ Joseph Allen Hopkins, 56, of Big Bay, pleaded guilty to one count of police officer, assault/resisting/obstructing, a two-year felony, with a habitual offender, fourth offense notice, punishable by life if primary offense has a penalty of five years or more, or 15 years or less if the primary offense has a penalty under five years. The charge stems from a Nov. 3 incident in Powell Township. Hopkins was scheduled to be sentenced Sept. 14.

≤ Colin Douglas Levasseur, 35, of 10401 N. Cave Creek Road, Phoenix, Ariz., pleaded guilty to one count of DNA profiling, refuse or resist providing samples, a one-year misdemeanor; one count of operating while intoxicated, a misdemeanor punishable by 93 days in jail; and two counts of attempted police officer assaulting-resisting-obstructing, a one-year misdemeanor. The charges stem from a Nov. 25 incident in Chocolay Township. Levasseur was scheduled to be sentenced Sept. 27.

≤ Gregory Scott Ogea, 40, of 295 Station Road, Gwinn, pleaded guilty to one count of controlled substance, possession of methamphetamine, a 10-year felony. The charge stems from an April 21 incident in Sands Township. Ogea was scheduled to be sentenced Sept. 7.

≤ Tyler John-Micheal Seppanen, 25, of 17102 M-35, Rock, pleaded guilty to one count of police officer, fleeing, third degree, vehicle code, a five-year felony. The charge stems from a June 11 incident in Forsyth Township. Seppanen was scheduled to be sentenced Sept. 14.

≤ Christopher James-Joebrian Williams, 21, of 335 Commando Street, Gwinn, pleaded guilty to one count of criminal sexual conduct, third degree, person age 13-15. The charge stems from an Oct. 1 incident in Forsyth Township. Williams was scheduled to be sentenced Sept. 7.

Appearing for arraignment July 20:

≤ Phillip James Turner, 27, of 408 Packet, Gwinn, pleaded guilty to one count of assault with a dangerous weapon, a four-year felony. The charge stems from a June 24 incident in Marquette Township. Turner was scheduled to be sentenced Sept. 21.

≤ Erick Leonard Holm, 26, of 115 York St., Ishpeming, pleaded guilty to one count of domestic violence, third offense notice, a five-year felony. The charge stems from a March 20 incident in the city of Ishpeming. Holm was scheduled to be sentenced Sept. 21.
