Delta County board OKs moratorium on data centers

ESCANABA — The Delta County Board of Commissioners has approved a 12-month moratorium on data centers and cryptocurrency mining construction, adopting a recommendation from the Delta County Planning Commission. Drowning victim recovered in Marinette

MARINETTE — Marinette County Sheriff Randy Miller reports that at 5:19 p.m. on July 12, Marinette County Dispatch received a call of a missing person, Harold L. Patz, age 73, of Dunbar, Wisconsin. Deputies responded to Twin Lake Road in the Town of Dunbar. Over the course of the following week, searches were conducted on the ground and in the water using grid searches, K9s, drones, boats, underwater remote operated vehicles and multiple dive teams.
