MARQUETTE -- A program titled “Why we Hurt: The Genesis of Grief,” will be presented next week.
Dr. Greg Fircchione, a psychiatrist from Harvard Medical School, will be making a public presentation on the human experience of grief as it relates to personal loss, the challenge of aging and health.
This event will tale place at 7 p.m. Wednesday Sept. 16, in the sanctuary of Marquette’s Messiah Lutheran Church, 305 W. Magnetic St. It is sponsored by The Cedar Tree Institute in partnership with Michigan State University’s College of Human Medicine
Michael Waite, musician and songwriter, will provide music for the evening’s event. This presentation is the third in a series for “The Coming Home Project” a collaborative initiative designed by the Superior Health Foundation.
