United Way of Marquette County to host campaign celebration

MARQUETTE – United Way of Marquette County will celebrate a year of community impact and recognize supporters during a special Business After Hours event from 4-6 p.m. Wednesday, April 22, hosted at Ore Dock Brewing Company in partnership with the Lake Superior Community Partnership and local media partners.

This event will serve as United Way’s annual campaign celebration–an opportunity to reflect on the collective impact made possible by donors, volunteers, and community partners over the past year, while also looking ahead to future initiatives.

“This event is really about gratitude and momentum,” said UWMC Executive Director Andrew Rickauer. “It’s a chance to thank the individuals, businesses and partners who make this work possible, celebrate what we’ve accomplished together and look forward to the impact we can create in the year ahead.”

Held as part of LSCP’s Business After Hours series, the event will feature networking, community engagement, and brief remarks highlighting key outcomes from the recent campaign. United Way will also recognize the contributions of its 26 partner agencies, which will be in attendance to share information about the programs and services they provide across Marquette County.

In addition, members of United Way’s Media Consortium – local media partners who support awareness efforts year- round -will participate in the event, offering giveaways and helping to spotlight the organization’s work in the community.

Starting at $3.23/week.
