NEGAUNEE — The RAMBA Trail Network has been hand-building and maintaining the trail system in and around the cities of Negaunee and Ishpeming for more than 30 years. It is a 501(c) non-profit volunteer organization funded by local donations from trail advocates, users and local businesses. Funds are used to purchase and maintain trail grooming equipment, fuel and for modest necessary administrative expenses.

The RAMBA Trail Network Board of Directors will hold an open meeting at 6:30 p.m. Monday in the lower level of the Upper Peninsula Brewing Company in downtown Negaunee. The board invites trail users, local businesses and anyone interested in the trail network to attend.

There will be a brief business meeting followed by a social hour where board members will be available to listen and share conversations about the trail system and other topics of interest brought by attendees.
