Maple syrup demo on tap
MARQUETTE — Northern Center for Lifelong Learning presents a maple sugar demonstration from 2-4 p.m. Wednesday, April 12.
During most springs, the sap drips the best during the first few weeks of April. No matter the sap flow, Charlie Yeager will give a brief overview of maple syrup making from tapping the trees to the finished syrup.
He will save a few taps to put in during the presentation. He will explain how technology has changed through the years.
The cost: $5 for NCLL members/$10 non-members. Contact event liaison Judi Mouser for more information: 906-360-2859, mouserhouse@gmail.com
