Chili Cook-Off — Sandy Knoll Elementary School, Graveraet Elementary School, Cherry Creek Elementary School and Superior Hills Elementary School are teaming up for the fifth annual Camper Chili Cook-Off fundraiser to help support sending every MAPS fifth grader to the Fifth Grade Outdoor Education Camp at Bay Cliff. The cook-off will take place 4:30-7 p.m. at Marquette Senior High School cafeteria. Tickets are $5 for students, $10 for adults, or $20 per family. Ticket outlets are Superior Hills Elementary School Office, Graveraet Elementary School Office, Cherry Creek Elementary School Office, Sandy Knoll Elementary School Office, MAPS Central Office and from parents, students, and volunteers at local events around town.

Family Storytime — which encourages families to come and enjoy songs, rhymes and stories together, will be held at 4:30 p.m. Wednesdays at the Negaunee Public Library. Children of this age must be accompanied by a loving adult when in the library.

Table of Grace — Grace Lutheran Church in Gwinn will be serving its free monthly community meal from 5:30-6:15 p.m. Everyone is invited to this Table of Grace at which meat pie will be served.
