Spring trail grading on ORV C route in Ely, Humboldt townships has begun

NEGAUNEE – The Iron Ore Heritage Recreation Authority is the Michigan Department of Natural Resources ORV sponsor for C route from Negaunee to Republic. Grading and gravel work began on June 1 in Ely and Humboldt townships. Work is expected to be completed within two weeks. People using the section of trail from the Tilden/Ely township line to the Humboldt/Republic township line need to be aware of heavy equipment on the trail.
