Negaunee welcomes their first pedaling patrolman and he is the city’s first bicycle cop. 30 years ago GWINN– Some 300 Gwinn residents were evacuated from their homes Tuesday evening after a man told police he’d wired a bomb to explode in his downtown apartment. A state police bomb squad from Grayling entered the building at 111 North Pine Street at about 2:30 a.m. but did not find an explosive device.
