DE PERE, Wis. — Marquette native Hunter Larson was one of six St. Norbert College baseball players named to the All-Midwest Conference North Division Team announced Monday.

Larson, a senior shortstop, was also named MWC North Division Player of the Year as teammate and sophomore Nick Klavekoske was named MWC Co-North Division Pitcher of the Year.

St. Norbert finished 24-15 overall this season and finished second overall in the Midwest Conference and first in its North Division.

Larson hit .362 overall while sharing the team lead in doubles with 11.

He scored 24 runs, hit one home run and drove in 21 runs.

His 24 walks and .489 on-base percentage were also team highs.

Larson was also named MWC Player of the Week on May 7 by helping St. Norbert clinch the North Division after batting .550 — 11 of 20 — over a five-game stretch. In those games, he collected three doubles, seven RBIs and scored five times.

In four MWC games leading to the honor, he actually batted an even better .647 on 11 of 17 in a series with Ripon College.
