ISHPEMING — Ishpeming has canceled its second varsity football game in three weeks, a home game scheduled against Gwinn tonight.

Hematites athletic director Terry Roberts cited low numbers, reportedly down to 12 or 13 players, because of injuries and illnesses.

The team canceled its game against Westwood two weeks ago because of the death of a player on the team.
