L’Anse hockey team beats Negaunee in shootout for third place in Lake Superior Hockey Conference tournament
HOUGHTON — L’Anse defeated Negaunee 2-1 in a shootout after the teams tied 6-6 in regulation during the third-place game of the Lake Superior Hockey Conference tournament held Saturday at Michigan Tech University.
Other details of the game weren’t available, though the Purple Hornets’ Craig Mantila was named to the LSC all-conference team.
