Palestinians and the Israelis need to talk

Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas said recently that Hamas must have “no role” in governing Gaza in the future and called on the militant group to hand over its weapons to the Palestinian authority. Line 5 concerns voiced

I'm writing with concerns of the future of Endbridge's Line 5 and the continued delays in coming to a decision on what will be done. With the current line being over 70 years old, the chances for a line rupture increases, with Endbridge making note of structural concerns 11 years ago. Who do we strive to become?

I flipped back though America’s story to our official start on July 4th, 1776. I re-read the grievances written in The Declaration of Independence our Thirteen States had against the king of Britain. The majority of immigrants to the New World saw an opportunity to become free individuals, free to practice religion they saw fit. Petitions don’t tell full story

To the Journal editor: Your right to vote is being attacked. Right now, petitions are being circulated to get a proposed amendment on the ballot in 2026 that would disenfranchise tens of thousands of eligible Michigan voters, all in the name of keeping non-citizens from voting. They already don’t. Seriously, about 15 votes per major election are fraudulent. Of course, the circulators are not telling you this. To the Journal editor: I recently obtained a copy of the "Health Officer's Record of Dangerous Diseases" for Tilden Township, Marquette County, covering a period 1909-1946. The number of children who contracted diseases like diptheria, whooping cough, mumps, chicken pox, measles, small pox and polio was sobering, especially now, when medical science has developed vaccines to prevent such diseases and anti-vaccine purveyors spout misinformation causing many parents to not have their children vaccinated. Loud is just loud, nothing more. It doesn't change the truth. Lies are just lies, nothing more. They don't change the truth. A gut feeling is just a warning of a possible upset stomach coming, nothing more. The truth is always there, unchanging, waiting to be recognized and used by reasonable people.
