We wish to thank both Dr. Brauer's and their staff of the Marquette Veterinary Clinic in Harvey for partnering with UPAWS to provide spaying and neutering services to pets purchased through UPAWS. Through their work with UPAWS, they provide a wonderful and important service to our community. We also wish to thank them for the top-notch job they did spaying our dog. She had no problems and healed in a week. As a matter of fact, in addition to our puppy, four of her litter mates were also spayed/neutered here on the same day. Iran can build dirty bombs using stockpile of highly enriched uranium

To the Journal editor: Iran has the ability to make and deliver "dirty bombs" using conventional explosives in combination with its enriched uranium. These dirty bombs could be smuggled out of Iran and delivered by small airplanes, drones, ships or trucks.  Dirty bombs don't require a nuclear explosion. Cancer battled in Outhouse Classic

To the Journal editor: On Saturday, Team Poop on Cancer braved the chilly temperatures to participate in the Trenary Outhouse Classic Race for the 11th time. The crowd was friendly, welcoming and generous as usual. The team comprised of Jim Groesch, Shaun Puzio, Carol Mills, Teresa Pepin, Ashley Bark, Joe Mills, Jean and Bob Dunn, offered baked goods for donations and brought awareness to a great resource in Marquette: The Mariucci Family Beacon House, which also hosts the wig salon for patients who lose their hair.
