To the Journal editor:

When I was growing up and abortion was at its pinnacle of discussion, one of the main issues was the lives it would save. That was because people were dying from back street abortions.

Today in the U.S. we abort 1.6 million babies a year and no one blinks an eye. Maybe a better alternative would have been to take the people performing those illegal abortions out into a public square and chop their heads off.

I am sure that would have made them think twice about it, and oh so many lives would have been saved. I do not, however, condone such actions.

I know that sounds barbaric and cruel, but I only say it to make a point. In many cases, a baby is mutilated during the abortion. Now I would call that barbaric.

Even worse, top executives from Planned Parenthood were recently caught on camera discussing the sale of those parts over lunch and joking about it.

Planned Parenthood receives $500 million in tax payer funding a year. They are one of the largest abortion providing agencies in the nation. I do not think our tax dollars should assist them.

Where is the outcry from the Democrat party? I know a lot of you that vote Democrat say I don’t agree with that, but yet you continue to support them.

The Democratic Party supports Planned Parenthood and abortion. People that support that party cannot wash their hands of this fact.

I read somewhere that there are two kinds of injustices; the first is found in those who do the injury, the second is in those who fail to protect another from the injury when they can.

We can protect the others by no longer supporting such barbarism.
