Maintain Teal Lake
To the Journal editor:
Although I am not from Negaunee, I would like to say something about letting motors on Teal Lake. In the summer I go canoeing and kayaking on the lake.
I enjoy it because it is quiet and I don’t have motor boats and wave runners to put up with. If you hug the north edge away from the highway it’s very enjoyable. It’s the only lake I know of that’s a quiet lake.
It is an advantage for Negaunee for me to go there as I always visit a gas station, restaurants and grocery store.
Please keep Teal Lake a jewel in this area.
