Faith restored
To the Journal editor:
On Monday, the busiest mail day of the year, I was standing in line with about 16 postal patrons when I observed an act of kindness and the truest example of the Christmas spirit.
An elderly lady, perhaps 85 years old, was mailing a poorly wrapped and misaddressed package. The postal clerk at the window, Candi, I believe, took the time to fix the package and cut a piece of paper to properly address the package
Thank you Candi for restoring my faith in human nature. You are a shining example of what a public servant should be. You were calm, cool, collected and polite during a hectic day at the post office.
I hope Santa is good to you. Merry Christmas and “God Bless us everyone.”
