To the Journal editor:

The Ishpeming Hematite Sports Booster Club would like to thank everyone in the Ishpeming community for making our seventh annual spaghetti dinner fundraiser an outstanding success.

It was an afternoon filled with great food and Hematite spirit. We would especially like to thank the student athletes, coaches, parents and volunteers for contributing their time and effort. Also, we want to thank the parents who contributed the delicious baked goods for the dinner.

A special thank you goes out to Scott Syrjala and his students for their hard work in bringing the Hematites-R-Us merchandise to the dinner. The day long efforts, positive attitudes and camaraderie are a reminder of just what great a community we live in.

Our fundraiser would not have been so successful without the support of such dedicated Hematite fans!
