Bad act cited

To the Journal editor:

More uninformed bias in the letters page. The latest is a real gasser from a Mr. Davie. Why does not the person in his letter have health insurance, if their work provides it?

Otherwise why would he ask at work if it covered? If their work does not provide it and the persons income is so small they can’t afford it they should be applying for assistance. President Obama does not provide Medicaid under The Affordable Care Act.

In truth many hundreds of people once insured under their employers group health plans now have no insurance because The Affordable Care Act caused their employers to drop the employee provided health care.

In reality the Act should be called the Unaffordable Care Act. Many people can not afford the cost of the Affordable Care Act and therefore are without any health insurance.

Having health insurance in most cases is simply a matter of choice. Most people can afford some type of insurance if they really want it.

My thoughts are simply why bother Dr. Dan when it seems Jerry Cannon would gladly buy it for them.

Let’s all get real and stop this foolish political baloney. It’s time we put our country first, look at where Granholm ran Michigan, into the garbage pit for sure, and I don’t see much better from our current president. I am an independent voter and always try to vote for the person and not a party. Maybe you all should try that idea.
