To the Journal editor:

The Lake Bancroft Committee would like to express its deep appreciation to Bernie Senski of Champion for his kind donation of a pontoon boat.

We will use the pontoon as a platform for the pump we will move across the lake this summer during our water quality remediation work.

By moving the pump across Lake Bancroft, we will be able to run water from all parts of the lake through food-grade flocculant logs, improving water quality, removing algal growth and restoring Lake Bancroft’s aquatic health.

Thank you, Bernie Senski of Bernie’s Auto & Marine in Champion, for caring about our greater community and its quality of life.
