Jodi B. Dix

Jodi was born in Ishpeming on November 3, 1960, a daughter of Alice (Annala) and Clarence “Buck” Johnson. She was a graduate of the Westwood High School, Class of 1978 and had participated in track and basketball. She furthered her education at NMU, receiving her Bachelor of Science degree in nursing. Jodi had worked at Woodland Assisted Living in Ishpeming and then at the Elder Law Firm of Anderson Associates, in Marquette. Jodi enjoyed spending time at the beach with her grandchildren, along with gardening, walking, reading, baking and was active in the community.

Jodi is survived by three daughters – Ashley Dix, of Marquette; Ali (Seth Kohtala, fiance) Dix of Negaunee; Cassandra M. (Kyle Kotajarvi) Dix of Pinckney; parents – Alice (nee Annala) and Clarence “Buck” Johnson of Ishpeming; sister – Jill (Roger) Mullins of Jackson; brother – Jeff (Marion) Johnson of Ishpeming; grandchildren – Jaedon Pole, Everett Hill, Isabella Hill, along with her nieces, nephews, and other extended family members which includes the Dix family.

Jodi was preceded in death by an infant brother – David Lee Johnson and grandson – Jackson Everett Hill.

A private family memorial service will be held at the Faith Lutheran Church in Ishpeming.
