Francis “Frank” Black
GREEN BAY, MI – Francis “Frank” Black, born June 11, 1941, passed away peacefully on April 25, 2026, at the age of 84.
He attended and graduated from Marquette Area Schools. From there, he went on to work at St. Luke’s Hospital as an orderly.
Frank was preceded in death by his parents, Tyne and Frank Black, brother Brian Black; and his beloved daughter, Keri Black. He carried their memories with him throughout his life, honoring them in quiet strength and enduring love.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Christine Black of Green Bay, WI; brother Duane (Imogene) Black of Marquette, MI; sons, Steve (Jamesa) Black and Kyle Wegner; daughters Victoria (Bob) Puddy, Jacqueline Wegner, and Gwendolyn Wegner; nieces; nephews; as well as his cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who brought him immense pride and joy.
Frank will be remembered for his steady presence, his dedication to his family, and the simple, meaningful ways he showed his love to those around him. His legacy lives on in the lives he touched and the family he held so dear.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you honor Frank’s memory by spending time with loved ones and treasuring each moment.
He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday at 10am for friends and family. Father Larry will be officiating the services.
