A group of local officials recently toured the Humboldt Mill in Humboldt Township as the guests of Eagle Mine general manager Mike Welch. At the tour were, from left, Humboldt Township Supervisor Joe Derocha, Ely Township Supervisor Ted Pepin, Ishpeming Township Supervisor James Nankervis, Welch, Republic Township Supervisor Gary Johnson, retired ironworker Jack LaSalle, Marquette County Board Chairman Gerry Corkin and Negaunee Township supervisor Bill Carlson.
