Attention dinosaur lovers!

NEGAUNEE — The Negaunee Public Library will host Dinosaur Trivia Night at 5 p.m. Tuesday. This family-friendly event will test participants' prehistoric knowledge through three rounds of questions. Teams can be up to 6 players with prizes awarded to the top three teams. This event is free to attend and designed for dinosaur aficionados of all ages, but registration is appreciated. Michigan Water Trust Fund Act legislation introduced in State Senate

MARQUETTE — In the Michigan Senate, Sen. Sam Singh has introduced legislation to address Michigan's persistent, underfunded water infrastructure needs and support safe, affordable drinking water for all Michigan residents. 30 years ago MARQUETTE — Although it’s scheduled to be built next week, Marquette’s Build A Dream playground project still needs volunteers for all work shifts, organizers said. Construction of the 12,000 square-foot playground at Mattson Lower Harbor Park is scheduled to begin Wednesday morning. Some 100 volunteers are needed for each of three daily shifts that run from 8 a.m. to noon, 12:30 to 5 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Lunch and super are provided for workers throughout the five-day project.
