Gas prices go up

MARQUETTE — Average gasoline prices in Michigan have risen 2.9 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $4.15/g today, according to GasBuddy's survey of 4,913 stations in Michigan. Prices in Michigan are 70.8 cents per gallon lower than a month ago and stand $1.10/g higher than a year ago. The national average price of diesel has decreased 11.7 cents compared to a week ago and stands at $5.182 per gallon. PCF calls for volunteers to help overhaul the Ishpeming Middle School garden

ISHPEMING — Partridge Creek Farm is calling on the community to join them at the Ishpeming Middle School Garden located at 402 Cleveland Ave., Ishpeming, from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday June 20, to roll up their sleeves and join a volunteer day. No registration is required and volunteers are welcome to come and go as needed throughout the volunteer day.
