MARQUETTE — The average gasoline prices in Michigan have risen 6.5 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $4.20/g today, according to GasBuddy's survey of 4,913 stations in Michigan. Prices in Michigan are 12.3 cents per gallon higher than a month ago and stand 99.4 cents per gallon higher than a year ago. The national average price of diesel has increased 17.8 cents compared to a week ago and stands at $5.255 per gallon. Blueberry Dance Festival starting!

MARQUETTE — The 15th year of the Blueberry Dance Festival in Marquette is this week! It is a community-wide event, open to all ages and abilities. It's hosted by Kaufman Auditorium and the Marquette Senior High School Varsity Dance Team. Free drop-in dance classes are from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. today. Master classes with pro cheerleader Emilee Iuvara are on Thursday. Build U.P. reaches full commitment of $15M housing fund

MARQUETTE — Build U.P. has now committed the full $15 million housing fund entrusted to InvestUP to help address one of the Upper Peninsula’s most pressing economic challenges and biggest barriers to growth. Launched in 2023 with support from the state of Michigan, the fund was designed to fast-track high impact shovel-ready housing projects and help close financing gaps that were holding back development.
