MARQUETTE — Average gasoline prices in Michigan have risen 14.0 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $4.34/g today, according to GasBuddy's survey of 4,913 stations in Michigan. Prices in Michigan are 37.4 cents per gallon higher than a month ago and stand $1.23/g higher than a year ago. The national average price of diesel has increased 7.1 cents compared to a week ago and stands at $5.326 per gallon. Marquette multi-use path to undergo centerline painting

MARQUETTE — A press release issued by the city of Marquette stated that centerline painting work has begin on the Lakeshore multi-use pathway between Pine and Front streets/US 41. “This centerline is a safety recommendation from the City’s E-Bike task force,” read the statement. “The work is expected to be completed by the end of the week. “Multi-use path users should be aware of traffic control devices and to use caution while traveling through the work zone.”
