The 2027 pageant also provided an opportunity to celebrate the service and accomplishments of Miss Rodeo Michigan 2026 Kira Szulinski and Miss Teen Rodeo Michigan 2026 Olivia Bucholtz, whose reigns will continue through Dec. 31.
Throughout 2026, Szulinski and Bucholtz have represented the Miss Rodeo Michigan Association, their home state, and the western way of life with dedication and pride. From rodeo arenas and community events to educational outreach and appearances throughout the year, both young women have devoted their reigns to promoting the sport they love and creating meaningful connections with the people they have met along the way.
For Kira, there is still another exciting chapter ahead. This December, she will carry the Michigan banner onto the national stage as she competes for the title of Miss Rodeo America. Representing Michigan among state rodeo queens from across the country, Kira will have the opportunity to showcase the horsemanship, knowledge, communication skills, professionalism, and passion for rodeo that have defined her year as Miss Rodeo Michigan.
The Miss Rodeo Michigan Association is incredibly proud of Kira and looks forward to cheering her on as she represents the Great Lakes State at Miss Rodeo America.
As Szulinski and Bucholtz complete the final months of their reigns, the Association extends its sincere gratitude for the time, heart, and dedication they have given to their titles and to the people and communities they have served.
Michigan's newly crowned rodeo royalty will officially begin their reigns on Jan. 1.
