NEGAUNEE — The annual Laps for Lakeview fundraiser has 18 days left, and as of Monday nearly $7,000 was raised of the $15,000 goal.

“Fundraising is vital for the success of our program,” said the public release from Lakeview Elementary School. “Laps For Lakeview is a fun event for our students and also helps with our annual fundraising. Through these efforts, we will be able to fund the extras for our students in field trips, presenters, and playground updates. Each participant has a monetary goal, please consider donating or sharing via social media so that they may reach it. Thank you so much for your continued support.”
