MARQUETTE — The Young Authors Conference is scheduled from 10 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Monday-Wednesday, May 4-6 and from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Thursday, May 7. The event will take place in Jamrich Hall on the campus of Northern Michigan University.

A day at Young Authors consists of a number of events. Students will attend featured author Sarah Week’s presentation, celebrate their own writing during a writing sharing session, participate in a special writing workshop activity and enjoy lunch at NMU. Weeks will present in room 1100. 

From 5:30-6:30 p.m., there will be a Peter White Public Library presentation and book signing with Weeks in the library’s Community Room on Tuesday, May 5. Weeks will also have a book signing and presentation from 5:30-6:30 Wednesday, May 6, in the Ishpeming Carnegie Library’s Children’s Library.
