Scouts will be selling popcorn

MARQUETTE — Local Cub Scout Packs and Scouts, BSA Troops are selling delicious popcorn to help support their Scouting adventures for the coming year throughout the Upper Peninsula.

Popcorn is the top fundraiser for most Scouting Packs and Troops who are thankful for the support for sales in the past. Scouts will be offering booth sales at select weekend dates and times starting Saturday at Super One Foods and Econo Foods in Marquette, Snyder Drug in Harvey and Negaunee, Tractor Supply in Negaunee Township and other places places.

Popcorn arrives in Marquette tonight in anticipation for the first day of show and sell popcorn sales this Saturday. Local units sell Pecatonica River Popcorn.

According to a release, the local troops “want to thank U.S. Special Delivery for all their help in transporting our popcorn to six locations in the Upper Peninsula each fall.”
