MARQUETTE — Beginning at 7 a.m. on Tuesday, College Avenue will be closed to traffic between Second and Third streets. Work on this section of roadway is expected to last three weeks. This is the final phase of the College Avenue project.

A detour route will be provided. The public is advised to use caution when traveling through this area and to be alert for construction, detour and advisory signing.

Smith Construction is the general contractor for this project. The city of Marquette asks for your patience during the construction process.
