Plans after graduation: Attend Northern Michigan University to double major in Environmental Studies and Political Science and run on their cross country and track teams.

Long-term (career) goal: Live in Marquette and help the local community, potentially a job in local government. I long to contribute with my knowledge in politics and environment.

Volunteer services: Westwood Youth wrestling-helping to run the annual youth wrestling tournament; Project Keep Kids Warm through Wesley United Methodist Church, helping to collect winter clothing for children; Adopt-a-highway with Westwood’s student council, picking up garbage along the highway.

Hobbies: Reading, writing, cooking, learning about new topics, participating in triathlon, running, swimming, being outside

Volunteer services: Co-created student lead recycling program at Westwood High School; collecting recycling weekly; played BINGO weekly at Mission Point of Ishpeming; volunteered at tennis and cheerleading youth camps.

Hobbies: Making friendship bracelets, building puzzles, reading, and finding hiking spots with Upper Michigan views.

Honors and awards: I am a member of the National Honor Society, I have made the Honor Roll every semester of my high school career, and I am a co-valedictorian. Recently I have received Michigan Technological University’s Society of Women Engineers Certificate of Merit and the Air Force Recruiting Service Mathematics and Science award. Also Excellence In Education Scholarship, Band Student of the Year, Bell Auxiliary and a General Scholarship, Life Leadership College Scholarship

Plans after graduation: After graduation, I plan on attending Life Leadership College in Milwaukee to pursue a career in church leadership.

Long-term (career) goal: My long-term career goal would simply be to work in a church. It is a dream of mine to serve the people in my community.

Volunteer services: I volunteer on the NORTHIRON worship team every Saturday night and Sunday morning. I was a member of the Westwood High School Key Club and both organized and worked at different events hosted by the Key Club. Also, I have volunteered to run a booth every year at our community harvest party that welcomes over 1,000 people.

Hobbies: In my free time, I enjoy reading, listening to music, playing my bass guitar, doing puzzles, shooting archery, kayaking, hammocking and taking in the sights of the Upper Peninsula.

Honors and awards: All A’s honor roll throughout high school; highest fundraiser in Forensics club all 4 years; science student of the month in April 2021; top Rookie Runner in cross country 2017 season; Determination Award in cross country 2019 season.; cross country WestPAC All Conference First Team 2019; UP Finalist all four years for cross country and track and field; Shifty Swifty Shakespeare Award in Drama class 2018/2019; Salutatorian; Science Department Student of the Year; received the Michigan State University STARR scholarship.

Plans after graduation: I plan to attend Michigan State University in the fall to major in human biology. Also plan on doing pre-med.

Long-term (career) goal: become an osteopathic doctor and return to a rural community to help/work in a hospital there.

Volunteer services: Big Brothers, Big Sisters Program junior year; For The Greater Good Club picking up trash around the community; NorthIron Church helping in daycare.

Hobbies: Reading, journaling, drawing/painting, walking my dog, watching NetFlix (“Criminal Minds” or “Supernatural”), watching ice skating videos on YouTube. Most of my free time is spent working at my job, doing chores, and adulting because I live on my own and support myself. Most recently I got a Polaroid camera and have been using that for fun.
