MARQUETTE — On Saturday, the Peter White Public Library will present “The Frog Prince” as part of its “Once Upon a Time” puppet show series.

There will be two performances: one at 1 p.m. and another at 2 p.m. in the library’s Community Room on the lower level.

In this fairy tale by the Brothers Grimm, a prince who has been turned into a frog by an evil witch must rely on a spoiled princess to save him. Veteran performers of the Vertigo Theatre Company bring their acting talents to the library puppet stage to present this well-loved story with some unique humorous twists. The shows are appropriate for all ages, especially families with young children.

There is no admission charge thanks to sponsorship by the Friends of the Peter White Public Library.
