Traditional music jam held Saturday
MARQUETTE — From 2-5 p.m. Saturday, the Peter White Public Library will host a traditional music jam in the Community Room on the lower level of the library.
Bring a guitar, banjo, fiddle, bass, ukulele, harmonica, or just your voice, and join other acoustic musicians and vocalists for a community jam session. Celebrate the traditional folk music of the Carter Family, Woody Guthrie, Pete Seeger, Bob Dylan, and others. It’s a chance to share love of music and learn a new song or instrumental technique. Listeners and singers are always welcome.
There is no admission fee to attend this event which is sponsored by the Hiawatha Music Co-op and the Carroll Paul Memorial Trust Fund of the Peter White Public Library.
